In 1999 when Tony and Val Albrow bought the farm that Tony had been working on for years, little did they know they were planting the seeds for a passion that would soon consume their time and resources. The land was home to the 95th Bomb Group Hospital, which by then was just a group of dilapidated buildings badly in need of repair. Tony and Val soon realized they needed to do something to preserve the property they had purchased, and began working in earnest to save the buildings. The vision of recreating the 95th Bomb Group Hospital soon became the driving force in all the work that was done on the buildings. Visitors, including 95th veterans, bolstered their enthusiasm as their dream continued to evolve into what is today the 95th Bomb Group Hospital Museum. Over the years, Tony and Val have collected many artifacts, some of which Tony found while working the land, and many through donations from local townspeople and 95th veterans. Because the Albrows use part of the facility to run their business, the Hospital remains a private endeavor that is open to the public for a nominal donation.
